7383 is on the west side of Pinewood Reservoir and is easy enough to climb since there are no houses to contend with. Crossing the dam, I started up the Shoshone Trail and intersected a barely existent 4WD road that headed up the hillside. Crossing a fence, I dropped into a gulch and gained the main ridge that leads to the summit. Crossing another fence that marks a section of DOW land, I followed a wildlife trail through the gentle terrain before crossing under power lines and hitting the small, forested summit. There's a cairn but no register, though I wasn't expecting one. It's worth dropping down the western side of 7383 to get views into the Little Thompson drainage and the Sugarloaf Mountain/Pole Hill area. I headed down by first following the powerline cut before traversing over a few brushy ridgelines and gullies. Crossing back onto the Ramsay-Shockey Open Space, I intersected the Besant Point trail and headed back across the dam.
